22 people all loaded on the shuttle and barely enough room to store our gear. The shuttle driver watched us with a puzzled stare as we carried out tons 'o hockey gear. After some great "UPS" style arranging by ex-UPS boys, Dylo, Topliff & Bast, we were on our way. Bishop needed restroom facilities...BAD, but thats what you get when you drink the plane clean of all beer.
Shane was giving the "tour" on the bus as we drove past the sights to get to our hotel. The group was still lively as we anticipated the Piano Bar that evening.
Checking into the Orleans was smooth as well. We are spread out among many floors, but probably good that we are not all too close together.
First stop for most was some food. Myself, wife, Lowells, Topliffs & Glessners ate at a local dive that had seafood to chinese...not a bad Philly sandwich was going to hold me over.
Dylo, Bishop & Basts grabbed some subway, while the Brands chowed down Mexican.
After placing some bets on hockey games, and about 30 minutes of blackjack for me, we grabbed the cab to New York, New York for the Dueling Piano Bar.
