In Need of Some Dryland Training?

Are you a hockey player that would like to improve your speed? Your strength? Your agility? Then Francis Wathier has the answer for you.

The Francis Wathier Youth & Adult Conditioning Dryland Camp will provide that specialized training every player needs to take their game to the next level.

I hear many adult players always discussing that they are not improving their play. A large part of this is we are all league players, so we play once per week. We show up for our game and warm up for 5 minutes then play the game. We do nothing to develop our skills to make us better players. When was the last time you were playing defense and as the other team's skater was coming at you on a breakaway you thought " hmmm...this is a good time to see if I can execute a backwards crossover." We do what comes natural when we play, but that does not allow us to improve.

Both kids & adults can improve their game by doing things "outside" of game play. Whether it's going to a Stick & Puck, public skating, or even attending a camp. Personally, I believe Francis has the right idea of helping others develop core skills through the use of dryland techniques. He must be doing something right as he was just called up to Dallas for the Stanley Cup Finals. You can see more info about Francis here.
