The ISU Hockey Team is having a team scrimmage this Friday in Ames. Game time is 7 PM.
Take an opportunity to head up that way before the big football game and show your support to new coach Brian Wierson.
Also, The Des Moines Buccaneers are having their Blue/Red Scrimmage on Sunday, Sept 16th at 4 PM. This game is FREE. Then you can head down to InPlay in downtown Des Moines after the game to hang out with your favorite Bucs players and meet them in person.
Pre season for them starts September 22 at 7PM against the Blackhawks. If you have season tickets, you will be able to get them on this day at 5 PM.
Cheer these teams on as they get ready to start the season.
