Kids look up to Pro hockey players. As adults, we admire the great ones and wish we could play like them. We may not go autograph hunting like the youngsters do, but occasionally even we adults get excited about a past star.Mike & I got lucky enough to meet not only a hockey great, but also a Chicago Blackhawk great. At a hockey tourney in Chicago for my kid over the Thanksgiving weekend, Mr. Savard was there signing autographs and helping raise money for their youth hockey program.
We got a big kick out of meeting him as he was just like one of the guys. It was even cool when Mikey decided it would be nice to give Savard some advice on how to be a better a player, and Savard politely said "Security...please remove this fine fellow." What a great sport!
