Meals From The Heartland

Powerhouse C League Player, Mark Loverude provided some info about Meals from the Heartland. He thought it may be a great way for teams to do some great service and hang out together. He did it last year and said it was very rewarding and a good time.

Wells Fargo Update

3 on 3 Tourney -

Tournament Dates are set for Wed. Oct 8th & Thur. Oct 9th. Kristina from MISF has been AWESOME enough to make the Wednesday C League that week a Pay & Play so players in C League do not have to worry about conflict and missing/forefeiting games.

We still have spots remaining for players and goalies, but we are capping it at 48 players. $50 gets you 4 games & 4 tickets to Chops game that next Friday.

The Thursday games will most likely be in the range from 6-8:30 pm and Saturdays will likely be 1:30-4 PM so that we we are done prior to the Chops game for all to enjoy the game.

Registration has been going well for our 3 on 3 tourney and we still have player & goalie spots available. At this time it is limited to C/D League Registered players, so get your registration & payment in to reserve your spot.

Game Dates & Times Are as Follow:

Wednesday, October 8th: 6:30-7:00, 7:10-7:40, 8:00-8:30, 8:40-9:10

Thursday, October 9th: 6:30-7:00, 7:10-7:40, 8:00-8:30, 8:40-9:10

Every player gets 4 games (2 each night). Cost is $50 and this includes all 4 games & 4 tickets to Iowa Chops Home Opener on Friday, October 10th.

Want to Play Hockey at Wells Fargo?

After some conversations with the Iowa Chops, we have secured a couple of opportunities to play at Wells Fargo Arena.

The first is another ever popular 3 on 3 Tournament. It will be played over 2 nights (Oct 8 & Oct 9). Everyone will play 4 games (2 games each night). Game times will start at 6:30 & the latest game time will be 8:40 PM.

Cost is $50 for all 4 games AND you get 4 tickets to the Iowa Chops Home Opener on Friday Oct. 10th! Basically, you pay for your tickets and the hockey is FREE!

There is a max of 48 players, so get your spot now! I emailed a large distribution list this info yesterday, and already have 10 signed up. Its filling quick.
